Love the colors and options in this package. I have been using this brand for three years, it is long lasting and looks like I had my nails done at a salon. I get compliments all the time.

Ok, I'm no hand model and I am still figuring out how to manage my coticules, but OMG! This is the best manicure I've ever done at home. This photo is taken on the third day after doing my nails with the Modelones Gel Nail Polish Kit. There is not a single booboo on any of my nails. The UV light was amazing and comes with a timer so you just stick your fingers under it and it'll shut off on its own after 60 seconds.I had no idea that Gels required an entirely different approach from regular nail polish. Which likely explains why I've never had any luck with gels on my own.So, if you're new to gels here are a few tips for success:First, read the directions completely and then follow up with a Modelones tutorial on YT. Proper prepping of your nails is likely one of the most important aspects of making this work.Second, don't be in a hurry. Do four fingers first, then UV for 60 seconds. Do your thumbs last.Third: UV after each coat of polish.Here's what I really like about this kit:1. It's very reasonably priced.2. The quality of the gel itself is outstanding.3. The brush is very nice. It's thick and handles wellI can't say enough about this kit. For less than the price of having my nails done at a salon, I can now do it at home any time I want.And about the cuticles? I'm working on it. But for my very first time with Modelones, I am absolutely thrilled with the results.

I do my own regular manicure/pedicure at home, usually on a weekly basis. Gel is a very rare thing for me to get because of how often I have to trim my nails. I did want to do - gel pedicure myself before a vacation and this set works for that purpose!The bottles are all quite small, I estimate 2-3 uses per color before it starts getting goopy but it’s a great variety size for a starter kit. The UV light needs to be actively plugged in to work, not charged. The nail polish remover pads - I wish there were more of! They do work but it required the full 10 min soaking and definitely some scraping. I’m happy with this kit overall, everything is decent quality and I love the nude colors.

I've found switching to gel can be very intimidating but this kit makes it so easy. The instructions are straight forward, the colors are a beautiful range that can be used outside of fall/winter pallets. The only problem is how small the light is, how short the chord to this light is and how little of the remover wipes are. I had to source my own chord to make it reach a table which is hectic with wet nails.

The media could not be loaded. Very impressed with this kit! I used the green and purple with the silver over both and I even used some stickers too! I'll definitely be buying from this brand in the future! Super easy and beginner friendly! LOVE it!

Paint your nails and stick them under a light for a minute or so. That's it. 👍🏼I find it easier to do 4 fingers on each hand and then do my thumbs together.

With a new career, I decided to start getting my nails done again (after nada for 8 years.) I love the salon where I get my pedicures. They do a great job and cost is reasonable ($55 w gel polish).Two weeks ago, I got both a gel manicure and pedicure. I was shocked at check out when the total cost was $98. That’s $43 for a manicure that took 15 min in cold water with a 30 second massage. I’m not cheap; in fact I always tip $20 for pedicure alone.I decided to start doing the manicures myself and took to Amazon…This is a decent little “starter kit” with everything you need but:*Light- TINY; way smaller than expected. All 5 nails do NOT fit properly! In fact, to fit 4 they need to be slightly crunched. When you crunch thumb in, the nail is facing sideways. Not being enclosed, there are no reflective sides. (See pic)*The orange storage container-(I am an organization addict- Think Home Edit; everything needs a place and its own container). As darling as this is, the great rubber handle on top, and how perfect it would have been under my bathroom sink, it’s a TOTAL FAIL! The flap has no way to stay closed. It looks messy and can’t be picked up by handle. Mine came cracked to boot. (See pic)*Tips- OMG I CAN’T even believe some of these! I was thinking the lamp may be fine for a little girl. Nope, not suitable for children. Oh or pregnant women and skin cancer patients! But it’s safe for everyone else?!?!?!Then it says NOT TO OVERUSE so as to prevent eye damage! So a little exposure to the open UV light should be OK; hopefully?!?! But wait, they recommend wearing SUNSCREEN prior to using lamp! (See pic) you can’t make this stuff up!I have decided to keep it. Hopefully the money I save will be worth all the RISKS!!Going to look for my sunscreen and tanning bed eye protection goggles from the 90’s now! Wish me luck!

This brand is the only one that my granddaughter is not allergic to. She really loves this brand and it has many colors to choose from.
