NOT TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE - THANK GOD!
I cannot say enough compliments for this product !! I truly thought all the reviews were too good to be true. I have a silver lab who was always pink skinned because his skin became irritated so easily. He also has three legs and one eye. So needless to say anything I can do to help my buddy live a more comfortable life I’m up for - so I gave these a tryTHEY WORK! His ears are WHITE! I never thought they’d ever get that healthy - antibiotics don’t even perform that well. He’s also significantly decreased on licking and chewing his feet. While he still does time and again he’s only been on them since 4/22. His fur is growing back on his paws and his coat is so silky. He even seems happier! He loves the peanut butter ones and thinks they’re cookies!Give this product a shot - I’m over the moon happy!Sharing a pic of my best bud - isn’t he handsome?!

Great for seasonal allergies!
I am a retired veterinary technician and have a dog who has seasonal allergies, and food allergies. His symptoms consist mostly of scratching at his face, and chewing his feet. The food allergies have been controlled by putting him on a limited ingredient diet. The seasonal allergies usually started up in April and last until November, and required antihistamines. Last spring my vet convinced me to try the prescription medication Apoquel which is an immunosuppressive. At first it seemed like magic, my dog had zero allergy symptoms. Then after being on the medication for a few months, my dog developed a histiocytoma (a benign tumor) on his lip. These are typically seen in puppies and young dogs - my dog was 4 yrs. old at the time. These usually go away on their own after a few months and that is exactly what happened - no big deal (other than a trip to the vet to confirm that it was in fact a histiocytoma and not a more aggressive tumor). Several months later, while still on Apoquel, my dog started chewing on his right front leg, up near where the leg and body meet (his front "armpit" if you will). He was also shedding like crazy - HUGE amounts of fur. He ended up with a large area of hair loss and red angry looking skin on his right front leg. He would not leave it alone. This happened after the allergy season. I bought a sleeve to keep him away from it, and took him to the vet (again). She did a skin scraping to check for bacterial infection, yeast infection, or mange which were all negative, and then suggested putting him on prednisone (another immunosuppressant) in addition to the Apoquel and Zyrtec. I told her I had been reading up on Apoquel and some of the side effects included histiocytomas and demodectic mange. I told her I was going to pull him off of the Apoquel (which needed to be done by weaning over a few weeks). She suggested I could try a dose of Bravecto which is used for fleas and ticks, but also is very effective in treating demodectic mange mites just in case the negative scraping was due to a low population of mites. Within a week of getting him off of the Apoquel and using the Bravecto his skin calmed down, and at that time I noticed that his entire coat was thinning - more noticeably on his right side. Once he was off of that nasty drug it took a few months for his fur to grow back. This year before allergy season started, I decided to read up on supplements for allergies. I chose Zesty Paws because of all of the good reviews, and the company's reputation. I started giving them to my dog in March and now well into allergy season have not seen ANY of his usual allergy symptoms. Also, his coat looks beautiful again!

not sure of effectiveness
We've had our dog on this for a year now...hard to know how effective it is because she still seems to scratch herself more than what may be typical. We were hoping this would curtail all itching. Perhaps more will be learned at the next vet visit.

Great product! Easy on my puppy
I purchased this product hoping to help my pup with constant paw licking and a surge of seemingly itchy skin. Like I’m telling you he was CONSTANTLY scratching. We first ruled out fleas and waited a few days to see if it had to do with weather but once those factors were ruled out, we started thinking that we needed some supplemental help.Within a week of taking these daily, our pup seems to be much more comfortable and the constant scratching has declined rapidly! He didn’t have any issue taking them and in fact he acts like it’s a treat so they must be tasty! Our doggy didn’t have any tummy issues which can sometimes happen with a goldendoodle and new treats, so that’s another major plus!

Didn’t help at all
2 containers in and really no changes to my GSD chewing and scratching. I will try dog in human next. Apoqul did nothing and cost a fortune for 3 months. Benedryl stops itching for about 3+ fours but the reviews for this were so positive we gave it a try and almost 2 months in my BM/GSD is still chewing and scratching leaving scabs here and there. Grainfree diet with online freeze dried salmon and liver we make ourselves with no addivities.

Skin Health
My dogs are a little picky about the flavor of supplements but I have no trouble getting them to take them. They are small, easy to break in half for my smaller dog that takes small bites and no problem for the bigger one. I believe the supplement is helping because they aren't constantly licking like they were before. Great for their skin health because if I can't get them to take them, they can't help them.

12/10 great relief for your pups
I have a German shepherd, every spring/summer he gets so itchy to the point he starts losing hair. These treats have made a huge difference in just a couple days. He is no longer constantly itching and biting at his fur and seems so much more relieved. I will say he isn’t a fan of the liver flavor so I’ll try another flavor choice next time! 10/10 recommend.

Too soon to tell - we have only been using for a couple weeks
I gave it 4 because my dog liked the Better Wild brand better but these do crumble and you can mix it in food if need be. It's too soon to tell if they work --as we have not used many of them yet. The season for his itchies also hasn't started yet - hoping to boost his immunity before they hit.As a note - these smell good to me - my boy doesn't share the same opinion. However he will eat them if I Hoover and make sure he does.
