6 mil. is the best mil. for throw away gloves. Anything less just rips too easily. Also, I am a woman and figured that I would order the medium. If you want them to fit snug with no breathing air then do that. But I sent back the medium and ordered a large. They are perfect. In my opinion, they have just enough space to breath but don't move around.

Photo of glove size to hand size!
Couldn't find any info on how the glove size translates to hand size. Found that it was printed on the box and have added a reference photo in this review. Went with the medium size and it fit width-wise, but was a little short for the fingers. Quality is as expected - no issues.

For rough jobs.
I do rough jobs with these jobs and they can last hours/ entire day carrying rocks, handling soil, cleaning with hydrogen peroxide and chlorox solutions. So: my fingernails stay clean, my fingertips do not dry out, my skin does not get damaged. Pleased.
