Looks nice, works well
I bought this to replace an old phone and like it very well. The sound quality is nice and clear. One thing I REALLY like is the phone has a button you can push to end and block the caller. I have used it several times to stop the constant damn spam calls and it seems to be working. I am enjoying more peace and quiet now. 👍🏼👍🏼

what an improvement over single phones
work splendidly. what I learned hard way is the phone land line will work ONLY w/ a set of these & other phones won't work at all. 6 only & I wish one could buy at least 2 additional-- absolutely no reason cannot add a few more to the base 6.

All good
Works fine, easy set up. Knows the date and time as soon as you plug it in. Replacing a very similar one that crapped out after many years. I still like having a land line, more comfortable than talking into a cell, plus coverage in my area is not great and I wouldn’t trust just having a cell

Works Easily to Block Robo-calls.
We got tired of getting so many robo-calls every day and were frustrated with receiving the same calls over and over. I bought this set of AT&T phones that has an easy-to use 2-step blocking feature and it seems to be working as evidenced by the drastically reduced numbers of junk calls we receive. The phones we had before had a blocking feature but it was too complicated to use so that's why we bought these new phones. Also they have a larger and easier to read screen with larger lighted buttons. I'm 70 years old and these phones have made my life a bit easier. A bit pricey but worth the money.

worked where others failed for my elderly parent
The tech incapable can use this without sweat. I tried many phones with my mom this is first she been able use without help. And first time she's been able to give up the cord. We tried two other cordless phones, I'm so glad this model is available, if just need a answering machine and phone, it delivers that with the simplicity of years gone by. and big buttons. yea. thanks. We've been running it like that for 4 months, and flawless. Tonight was call that brought the spam calls to a crisis, so I'm going to start using the call screening feature and introducing her to call blocking feature.Mounted on wall under cabinet, worried, but looks fine and more clearance room than was expecting so actually prefer is configured shelf like now. She's never mentioned the batteries so apparently isn't having any problems with keeping charged. But I do have two in same general area so she can always find one if other gets left in fridge.this voice menu is odd but that a one time complexity to give you simple base. When it got to the voice message recording I exited out and never touched it again. The generic default message doesn't give scam callers any info about the number they called.not lot of things I don't have to think about. this was a great buy. phone solved. though Mom reports she does have problem of sometimes when she answers a call the caller can't hear her. said it happens about twice a week. she talks on phone a lot so not frequent enough to worry about, we have internet phone service so could be that or her hitting something like call block by mistake and not looking at the screen to see it prompting her to do something. if it happen more, maybe I'll experiment with like answering the phone blocked from base station to see if is issue with phone syncing on signal connect. solution might be to simply hold it up in air a little when pressing answer if spot in house that problematic. just speculation, I've not experienced the problem nor had any connection/signal problems, I even use the phone on occasion in a sound reinforced/insulated room a floor above the base station without any static. So yea, I recommend. Isn't any other cordless on the market that fits my mom's "only wants/able deal with old tech" needs, while having all the modern tech for me when I need to change things for her.

Effectively Blocks Telemarketers, But Very Inconvenient to Use
We bought this phone system to replace our standard cordless phone system as we were getting far too many robo calls. The call screening works effectively. I have not gotten one telemarketing call since installing it. We were getting them as close as 3-5 minutes apart the week before installation. So that is a positive. One other positive is you can delete individual messages from the handset (our old system could only do that from the master base unit). The downside is the inconvenience of operation.1. Answering a call: simply pressing the speaker or phone button does not answer calls in screen mode. You must also press "1" to answer. This additional delay/step seems unnecessary.2. The message playback does not show the telephone number of the calling party when playing back messages.3. The intercom system is hard to use and takes several steps to start a call to another handset.4. Handsets cannot be given useful names like "kitchen", "studio", etc. Only the default Handset 1,2,3 etc. forcing you to remember which handset number is which room/person.5. No clip on the back of the phone. With my old phone, I often clipped it to my shirt collar and used speaker phone hands free. This phone has no means to clip onto anything for hands free operation.6. Base unit has no display so when playing messages, you cannot see caller's number or caller ID.7. No dedicated button for telco's voicemail. Our old phones had a "VM" button that could be programmed to dial our telco voicemail (call waiting voicemail) and dial the passcode and start playing messages stored on the telco's voice mail system. As far as I can tell, that feature is not on this phone. So the bottom line is, you have to give up conveniences you may be used to just to block telemarketers.
