CT1 0304423 Unique Sealant & Construction Adhesive (290ml) Sealant, White

This product did what it said it would and more!When replacing my pool light the screw used to hold the light in place broke off in the bracket. The bracket also broke and rendered the screw hole useless. So even with a new screw it didn't hold the light in place. The light would pop off and float to the top of the water. This made the installation of the new light much more difficult, and costly which would include draining a good portion of the water, and replacing the light tub it sits in. I searched on Amazon for an under water sealer/adhesive. This is where I found the CT1 sealant. I did the whole job under water. Not going to say it was easy to do, but I was able to put a bead around the light, hold it in place for a few minutes and it held the light in place! I added another bead on the outside of the light and smoothed it out with my fingers. It got a little messy and didn't look the best, but the light is in to stay! Amazing how quickly the sealant set up even under water. Honestly I didn't think it would work. This product saved me quite a bit of money and time. Now I would recommend CT1 to anyone that needs something to stick together when wet or under water. Great product!

It never hardens up

I had a patch I put on the old lead pipe drain from the toilet- This both adhered and sealed wonderfully. Wich it was readily available in the US..

Amazing stuff unbelievable, I used it to glue a boat seat in a spot where I couldn’t install screws from the back, a vertical surface 10x 36 area, ,it bonded wood to fibe glass almost instantly and has not come off,wow.

Great product! Tried a competitor and found it wimpy compared to this stuff. Holds super solid. I’m using it in outdoor insect traps, holding glass quart jars of isopropyl alcohol suspended in the air, with great results.

CT1 is a popular product with overwhelmingly positive reviews but in reading the reviews it seems CT1 has been used to fix things that aren't necessarily it constant view or where its evidence of use may not be so obvious. I decided to reseal my shower using CT1 because silicone eventually starts to grow mould and starts to peel away from the tiles and CT1 had been recommended to me by a couple of builders.My first impressions of CT1 were really positive with the most noticeable thing being the complete absence of that horrid silicone smell, instead this smelt slightly like Mr Muscle bathroom cleaner with an orange like-smell. It's very sticky compared to silicone and a little more fiddly to get it looking neat but I was happy with my initial results. The CT1 took quite a long time to properly cure - I'd say near 72 hours.Unfortunately after a couple of months the CT1 has gone quite yellow in colour which is surprising since it's almost brilliant white when it came out of the tube. I can understand that products discolour over time but this has started to happen very quickly. I am not sure if it's exposure to steam, water, soap or cleaning products that might have caused this but it never happened with silicone!It has left me feeling a bit disappointed with the product, especially considering its cost. It's supposed to be a replacement for several different tubes but I don't think it's a true replacement for white silicone.If it hadn't discoloured so quickly I'd have given 5 stars!Pros:- Good adhesion- No strong odourCons:- Expensive- A bit messier to use than silicone- Long curing time (72 hours)- The White version discoloured and went yellow after a couple of months in a shower cubicle

This stuff is the daddy of all sealants. I've used pretty much all of them over the years, and generally use a PU sealant for most tricky work, but this is amazing.Works wet and dry, with pretty much anything. I used it to repair some soil pipe leaking that nothing else could come close to fixing.It's sodding expensive, far more than anything else I've used, but it's cheap. When you are in the Sh*t, it's worth every penny.Add the price of a tube on to every job, and you are covered!

I bought this because I needed something to stick a heavy shower tray to a concrete floor. I initially followed the instructions with the tray to use a sand/cement mixture but it didn't adhere properly; although it was level you could hear a distinct knock when you stepped on the tray. So up came the tray and after watching someone on YouTube use CT1 I opted for the same method. I used a spray adhesive (Ambersil HS300) to seal parts of the concrete floor and the parts where the shower tray comes into contact with the floor first to ensure a good stick and it worked a treat (just make sure you dry fit the tray first to make sure everything is flat and the drain trap is flush with the floor).

we used it on our sailing-vessel. The windows were leeking. They are made from two frames outside, between them there is a gap filled out with a rubber, which is broken from uv light. I tried Sikkaflex together with the special primer from Sikkaflex. I did it three times without succes. Sikkaflex is not able to stick on the small edge of the frames and is also not able to catch the two different movements between Aluminum and plastic-hull. But CT-1 did the job! Now the windows are dry! Thanks a lot for this fantastic product! And by the way: you throw away this silly Sikkaflex if you don't use it after half a year - because it dryed out. Not so with CT-1. A friend gave me the rest of his CT-1: produced end of 2016. And it was allready to use! Absolutely brilliant product!

Have used this a few months ago as a sealant in my shower as I was replacing other silicone every year due to mould.The CT1 has discoloured very quickly going a nicotine yellow and also showing signs of mould growth which is not what I would have expected from a marine grade silicone. Would I by it again? No as I can get two tubes of basic silicone which will last 10 times longer before needing replaced.
