Is what it says
My seller sent the cables and they arrived earlier than promised by 2 day normal mail on free standard shipping. The USPS estimated time of arrival it came a day late, but that was THEIR estimated time and according to amazon it wasn't supposed to be here till june 2nd and that's 3 days away. I got them yesterday. Kudos to the seller on that, your experience may vary based on the reseller. Both cables plug in and click on my switch and computers which are standard PC RJ-45 plugs. The cables are clearly marked as Cat6 cables. Both cables are in fact rated for transfer speeds of 1gb as my router provides both lights (one fore 10/100 and the other for 1000mb transfer speeds) to confirm that these cables will in fact run at high speed. The snagless part of the cable is exactly as pictured. One of my cable ends had the tab on top of the snagless part which might be what people were having problems with but with a little tweaking I was able to fold the snagless tab so that the tab could be pushed into place and it worked fine. This only happened on one connector on one of the 2 cables I bought (of 4 total connectors). If you don't like it, you can easily take a pocket knife to the snagless tab and cut it off if it gets in your way. No harm no foul.As far as not being "white" as people are complaining about, they look pretty white to me. I don't know what the others are complaining about. Maybe its more of an off-white or their paint they're trying to match is "perfectly white" I don't know. Me personally I could care less about the color, but to me its more white than my beige walls, so I can't fault the manufacturer. Maybe they got a bad batch of color or they're color blind. No idea but they look white to me. You're not going to hide cables by matching color anyways. Run them thru your ceiling or paint them the exact color you want. Mine are run across a hall with brown duct tape on them and then covered by a throw rug. I don't see them at all.The only thing you might want to be sure of is that you protect the cable if you plan to run it on the ground. The casing on the outside seems a little weak. That's why I covered mine with duct tape before running it under the carpet. It hopefully will help hold it together. It also does kink pretty easy but with proper handling you shouldn't have problems with it. Just don't fold the cable up and pinch it yourself or try to yank it around corners or whatever. (You know, common sense).Overall these cables are what was promised and I bought two of them and both were identical, and work. My kids can play minecraft again on the internet and are happy so I'm happy. These ones are a lot better than others who do bait and switch. My last set were like that, these weren't. You can't beat the price either. Mine were a little under $7 a cable. For 50' of Cat6 cable, you won't beat that price at best buy or other name brand stores. you'd be lucky to get a 6' cable for that price. Easy 5 stars.

Just buy it, it works and solves many computer issues.
The 50 Ft. Cable arrived on time and just as pictured. Shipped it will have the cable rolled up and in a plastic bag, then coupled with a plastic air bag pouches. The entire cable is what seems to be of high quality and decent thickness where it will not twist and tangle. If you look at the picture you can see that there is some protection for the clip that will “click” into place into your device. Any cable that does not come with ridge projecting that small plastic is total waste, not so with this cable.Speeds are as expected for Ethernet cables, Cat 6 is makes a world of a difference from previous platforms. You should expect to see speeds higher than your Wi-Fi router can produce, even if you are sitting right next to it. I have mine connected directly from my Tenda Router to my Desktop Computer. Downloading large files and Online Gaming ( Battlefield 4 ) have drastically improved. WebPages and games do not disconnect as frequently when compared to being on Wi-Fi.In conclusion, great cable quality and really the reason you are looking at this is the price. I have yet to see anything lower in price, with Prime Shipping, and in 50 foot length under $10.

Works, but...
First of all I get find speeds over this cable - without getting too far into the weeds it it going from a router to a switch on my desk - which then splits out to several machines...I am able to get transfer speeds of 1Gb/sec reliably as advertised and as expected from Cat6. That being said I have the switch on the end of my desk with the cables just draped off heading to the floor behind the desk and into the closet. This particular cable then goes up the wall, into the attic, down the hallway, and into a router. However, the other day I lost connection at the point of the switch. After troubleshooting for a while I realized that the cable itself was the point of failure and indeed what had happened was failure at the point where the sheathing meets the connector - it had cracked. Upon analyzing the crack I could tell that the sheathing was indeed very brittle (something that was definitely not apparent when handling the cable in general - it felt very "normal" to me). The weight of the several feet of cable had caused it to fail here (none of the other cables that I had manually crimped under the same strain had succumbed thusly). Now, this wouldn't actually be a problem under normal circumstances - the sheathing can fail and the inner wiring will still function fine. However, with the sheathing removed I was able to inspect the inner wiring itself and see that it was very flimsy wiring indeed - the flimsiest I have ever encountered. Thus the sheathing is critical to maintaining the integrity of the wiring - if one goes the other is likely to follow. Unfortunately since both components appear to be of relatively cheap quality this seems all the more likely. That being said I am fully aware that my criteria when buying this were pretty much "get the cheapest thing that will get the job done". In order to achieve this price point certain manufacturing measures were certainly taken - and that is evident (that is why I am giving it two stars instead of one). I am currently getting functionality from this cable after having crimped on a new RJ45 connector. If you get this cable you will want to make accommodations for its shortcomings - if you do you will have a functional Cat6 cable.
