Med brown, some warmth to the color but not a lot. Enough that it doesn't appear grey instead of brown. I have bought several different brands of this type of coverage. Other then the labels being different they all basically look the same at first. But this one goes on less intensely then any of the others I have bought. I like this because you have much more control on how intense the color build up and coverage is. For me that control makes it easy to make it look natural.

I am a week late for retouch on my hair. The puff and powder are so easy to apply. This is so much better than the spray can I bought earlier in the year. It does not dirty my hair, or make it sticky, and covers my root color until I can get a hair color appointment. The jar is great for travel. It stayed shut and didn’t crumble during my flight. Love this!

I've got dark ash blonde hair with gray highlights. It's fine and thin, so I'm using this to color my scalp under the hair, which gives the illusion that I have more hair. But the product really needs to match the color of the hair well for the illusion to work. So I bought both the dark blond and the light brown. The light brown works perfectly, because it has cool undertones (like ash colored hair), whereas the dark blond has warm undertones, so I can see it sitting on my hair and scalp. The dark blond doesn't blend in at all. I think it might work for honey blond (maybe), but not at all for ash blond. I'm glad that I bought 2 colors so I could find the right one.That said, the illusion is only an illusion. The photos on the product page are misleading. They make it look like there's actually more hair once the product is applied. This isn't hair fibers, only scalp foundation. They've photoshopped those pictures, so you shouldn't expect it to look as good as what they show. (The deceptive photos are why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5.) For my hair, using a scalp foundation is a major improvement, so I don't know why they needed to put up deceptive photos.Before I bought this, I bought an expensive scalp foundation that cost $60 for a slightly smaller amount. This works just as well; in fact I like the applicator better, and they give you a small brush as well, which can be used for eyebrows. The expensive scalp foundation does have nicer packaging, but packaging isn't worth $50, so I'm very glad to have found this.

Update: the sponge ball is on the bottom of the product. I just seen a video of them pulling it out LOL. So it is there 🙌🏻It works great! It came with the little brush, not the sponge top. Was alittle bummed about that, but I just used a big blush brush I already had. I love it

This product would be perfect if the color was actually dark brown. Instead, it is very much dark grey (almost a stone color).The product is easy to use and comes with two applicators: a brush and a sponge/poof. The brush provides more specific application, the sponge/poof provides broader coverage. (Using the brush on grey roots can result in inconsistent coverage and streaky coloring. The poof was an easier applicator for the root line.)I've included photos of the product vs. what I would consider a "dark brown."Coverage was good and lasted days (I was traveling and didn't shampoo). However, the color was subpar, in that it made my root area look a lot more dark grey (cool tones) than dark brown (warm tones). It did not match my actual hair color, but it was a small enough area to be passable.For the price I will not exchange it (shipping is nearly as much as the product), but I will continue to blend it with other eyeshadows in my collection to try to achieve the color I was hoping for.

Great product!Even covers well over grown dark roots.Wish they had a much bigger one.It's a tiny tiny thing of it.Goes really fast.Stays put nicely.Used first time on a trip out if state when couldn't get hair done with lots of grey and long out growth of dark roots.Great coverage.Only enough for two times.Like I said tiny tiny container.If they had a bigger one.I'd buy it.You won't be disappointed in product other then size.

As a lady in her 60’s, my gray hair and shedding, from age, left me feeling like I could see my scalp in bright sunlight, when looking at myself in the visor mirror. If I could see it, others could, too. This power adds a look of depthness at the roots, making it less apparent my hair has thinned. It is easy to apply, but remember, less is more. I experimented when I first received it, so I could figure out how much I really needed. Give it a try!

Was skeptical, but thought I'd try. To my surprise, it was effective & easy to use !! Takes only seconds & remains in place throughout the day. And, if you need/want, you can touch up during the day w/a few pats.

This stuff is great! The applicator makes it buildable and looks natural. I use it to fill in around my hairline, as it’s thinning a bit. Love!

I've got a two week wait for my hairdresser. My roots are shocking lots of greys. I brought this product on a wim as me and my grey hairs had a night out to go to. I couldn't use a permanent root touch up as I'm getting my hair Tinted and highlighted in two weeks time. I applied it on Thursday I've been out jogging today. Its definitely sweat proof.

I was reluctant to try this but I am so glad I did. It completely works. Easy application with the powderpuff. There is also a small brush applicator for more detailed areas. The trick is getting your colour match right, if you get your colour right you won’t regret your purchase and the powder blends perfectly into your existing hair. It stays put once on as well and washes out when you wash your hair. As a menopausal woman my hair has given me some trouble, some thinning around where I part my hair and my temples. This product is magic.
