Good, clean ingredient shampoo
I have extreme skin reactions to products that contain soy and its derivatives, and I love that I can use Innersense products. This has been a good purple shampoo to help keep my blonde highlights from getting brassy.

Made my dark bits darker, but didn't discolor the silver-grays
My thick, curly, 50-something hair is what some might call salt and pepper and others might see as pewter. It's natural - no added color - and about 70% gray with my natural color being a dark brown, almost black. We have mineral-rich well water so I have a filter on my showerhead to remove some of the minerals, and I use purple shampoo to neutralize the warm browns and give my hair more of a silver-cool tone. At the rear crown of my head, I have a streak of silver and the nape of my neck is still my original dark brown color, so all of it has to play nicely with whatever purple shampoo I use.INNERSENSE Organic Beauty brand is new to me, but it seems to be a quality product that is non-toxic and cruelty-free, which I like. Its deep purple color deposited neutralizing color into my hair, but it didn't leave my hair discolored in any way, which was my expectation. The suds created by the shampoo-hairbath were OK and the shampoo rinsed well. There isn't much in terms of directions on the bottle, so I didn't have any guidance as to how long to leave the shampoo in my hair. Based on my previous purple shampoo experience I left it on for 5 minutes and rinsed it, followed by my favorite conditioner. This seemed like a good amount of time and the results were as expected. Many purple shampoos are very drying and this one was not. It wasn't moisturizing either. Overall, I liked it and I think it should work on most all hair types with platinum blonde and silver hair benefiting the most from using it.I wish there was more information regarding how long to leave it on my hair or how often it is recommended to use it, but the product is a good one and when used 1-2 times a week and left on for 2-5 minutes, it should keep brassy tones at bay.Overall, I like it and recommend it. My hair looked darker to me after using it, but no discoloration of the gray-silver, with a healthy shine.

Didn't seem to do much with my color, worked fine as a shampoo
Admittedly, my hair is darker than this product is meant for. I used to have much lighter hair when I was little, but it darkened as I aged, so I shouldn't hold that against it much.As a shampoo, it has a pleasant smell though I struggle to describe it. It's not overpowering and didn't seem to linger a long time to me, so even if you're not fond of it, it probably won't be too bothersome. It lathers fine and seems to work just fine as a shampoo. The difference it makes in hair color might be more obvious for other people, but for me it was mostly a shampoo. It was leaking pretty badly when I opened it, so it didn't seem to be sealed. It was in a plastic baggie, so it didn't get all over my stuff, but maybe I got a slightly defective bottle.
