I liked the size, not to big not to small.

Fits nicely under the cup and catches spills but hardly room to carry the saucer under the cup if you have big thumbs. I would order a size larger next time.

I got a set of Turkish teacups and needed some little plates to go under them for the traditional look. These are perfect of the job! Just the right size to go under a small cup and protect your table from any stray drops. I've also used these to hold small bites without cluttering up a tray, and under tea lights to protect the tabletop.Like many plates, they are not perfectly uniform, so there are little gaps when these are stacked and some of the plate curves are slightly shallower or deeper in spots. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of if that sort of thing would bother you.All in all, these little plates are simple, versatile, and do their job well!
