Easy SpiritWomen's Traveltime Mule

I have purchased many pairs of these Easy Spirit shoes in different colors from different online vendors with much success. However, after purchasing this particular pair in February 2017 in my correct size, I am saddened that the shoes are falling apart. I had to glue down the front tabs on both shoes and the material is flaking off so badly I literally had to fill in the spots with a black sharpie when I noticed them at work. I have Travel Time shoes I have worn for years with no such issues. Since the 30-day window has passed, I use them only as "walk to the mailbox" house shoes since the sole is still okay. I question if these shoes were seconds or some ES quality control rejects.

I had purchased this shoe at a local store and wore them all the time. They were so comfortable and easy to slip on and off, but stayed put even on long walks up and down hills. Last summer I got deck paint on them and didn't feel they should be worn out in public :( I was very happy to see that Amazon carried these shows, but when they arrived I found that they were way to narrow for my foot. I checked my other shoes and they were the same size and width. Perhaps Easy Spirit manufactures these shoes a bit different today then they did a year ago. I was going to return them and purchase a wider width, but discovered that a wider width was almost double the cost. Hey - what's going on here Easy Spirit?

The Easy Spirit Women’s Traveltime Mule was the perfect indoor shoe for my aging mom. Like most Asians, our family removes our shoes when going into the house and we have designated “indoor shoes” to wear, similar to Mr. Rogers. While comfy slippers are usually the shoe of choice, my mom needed something that was confortable but with a little more grip to keep her from falling. The Easy Spirit Traveltime Mule was the perfect choice as it has plenty of grip, good support, is lightweight, and is just thick enough to protect my mom’s feet in case she dropped something on her foot. The shoes can be easily put on and removed, just like slippers, and they’re simple and attractive.My mom usually wears 8.5 shoes, but found the 8.5s to be a bit snug on the top of her foot as well as a bit short. I ordered half a size up and the sneakers worked great for her - the 9 fit the length of her foot perfectly and did not put pressure on the top of her feet. If you’re planning on purchasing online, you may consider going half a size up as well. The sneakers arrived securely packaged, were bagged, and were completely brand new. While her Christmas gift ended up having to be returned and exchanged for a larger size, she was very pleased with the overall comfort, functionality, and look of the shoe.

I have never experienced an Easy Spirit shoe that has deteriorated so quickly. The front of the toe on both shoes began scraping off within a few weeks. They were such comfortable shoes that I didn't bother, and figured they would still be wearable winter shoes. I am a 75 y.o., so there is not a chance that I overused or abused the shoes in daily wear, if you get the drift. Now the sole rubber that wraps up to the front of each toe is coming loose. Honestly ... don't bother with these. I wish I'd acted quickly and had sent them back.

This is THE shoe line for wide feet. Good support, good fit, consistent size and quality over time. If you have unusually wide feet and don't want to buy throwaway shoes, this is THE shoe for you. Buy two pairs so you don't wear the same shoes day after day. Both pairs will last longer if they dry out between wearings.

I also have plantar fasciitis and with the standard insole included it didn't give me any problems! SCORE!I have the all black pair and the black pair with white soles. My only suggestion is that if you have a wide foot or your feet tend to swell throughout the day GET THE WIDE!!!! While the regular for me fine the wide would have been much better and is what I would buy in the future!

First off, the reason I clicked "somewhat small" is because the back of my heel sits slightly over the lip on the back of the shoe. I was wishing I clicked on "try it now for 7 days" but they are still comfortable, I just can't wear thick socks with them and I wear "Bombas" socks which give a lot more support and comfort and they are a little thick. I did go back and order a size 11 also though. These shoes are worth having two or more pairs. I have plantar fasciitis, Metatarsalgia and Equinus along with arthritis. My feet are a mess. I am on my feet all day at work and many times have tears in my eyes. this effects the rest of the body. I have had surgery and my feet have gone from a size 9 to 10.5. I sometimes wear Sleeve Stars compression Sleeve if I don't wear the Bombas socks and those help too. I used to wear these shoes all the time but I had a hard time finding them in larger sizes for a couple years and just now found them so I pleased. I have pretty wide feet but these shoes are already quite wide so i just get the regular size. My feet still hurt at work after the first few hours But they hurt no matter what shoe I wear. These help me go a little longer before the pain is bad. I like the back of the shoes though because I can quickly slide out of them unlike other shoes. I keep another pair of shoes in my locker at work and find that when the pain starts, if I change my shoes every hour, it helps although at my job it's hard to find time for that. All in all , if you have severe foot pain, this is not the answer but they give me some relief and for big shoes... they don't look ugly or bulky. These are great for traveling or all day outings, such as amusement parks etc..

Love Easy Spirit mules, shame about the sizing! US 9 is more like a UK 7.5, not 7 as stated on website. Half size makes a big difference. I put an insole in and they are still a bit big. My last pair was US 8 bought in USA which is UK size 6.5, but worn out now. Its very hard to get a white leather mule in a suitable size, comfortable and easy to walk in. Easy Spirit footwear is very well made and supportive for back problems.

We always buy these when we visit the States, but we can now buy these in UK via Amazon My wife says that they so comfortable and wear them all the time

Stylish, comfortable trainers at a good price. What more can you ask for? On yes! Cheaper postage!

This is about the seventh pair I have purchased. I had trouble with my feet on holiday years ago when all my shoes were rubbing in different places. I tried on the Easy Spirit mules and they felt like heaven and I have always bought them since.

Very comfortable clogs which are less rigid than some can be. Fairly smart indoor/outdoor shoes. Great for putting on and off quickly at the door or when travelling but also fine for walking on level ground.
