The fasteners are great for keeping important looseleaf papers info together on a permanent or temporary basis when using the special matching brass washers.My only complaint is that I use them seldom and one is forced to buy too many.I don't need a 100 when 30 or so would suffice.

When you're a teacher, you need all kinds of supplies to support students. I made simple booklet and used the ties to secure them. Each student has their own book to read and write in. The price is reasonable and sturdy. Would buy them again.

I purchased the brass fasteners to bind 25 books. Given the size of the holes at the ends I needed the washers or the fasteners would slowly make their way through. I got down to the last paper book and found I was left with 3 washers. I needed 4. One for each side of the book with the fastener. Watch your count people.

These are the old-fashioned little thingies that hold paper together. Put them through the hole and fold over the back side and they just stay. I used them to hold together my bank statements when put into storage after tax season, then reuse the binder for the following year.

The heads are small so ordering the washers that are offered would be smart.
