Q: love it how doesnt blow away in a storm ?

It is after all not extremely heavy, however mine on my decking survived a windstorm with no problem. Some of my potted plants on the otherhand did not make it. But it is more for the looks and memories I have when he is there.

Q: Weird question.. but is it hollow?

I bought this a very, very long time ago and returned it immediately due to poor construction but I do believe it was hollow. It was very disappointing when I got it. I have a tin man that I bought years ago when I lived up north that graces out back yard by hanging in the biggest tree as this one is meant to be hung. Nothing has compared to that one.

Q: has anyone had it outside for over a year...how has it held up to the weather?

I've had mine outside in a flower garden for a few years. I bring it inside for the winter. The heart is colored red but mine faded. Now I spray it with clear lacquer and it looks good. I actually put a bolt in the top of the funnel on his head to try and prevent it from rusting from the inside out. Overall he still looks new. The Tin Man is great !
