Conservas Ortiz Bonito del Norte Tuna in Olive Oil - 2 Pack (Two 3.2 oz/92 gr tins)

Unlike american-style tuna fish that is thin and tasteless, Spanish bonito del norte is an out of this world experience with thick, flavorful chunks and flakes. We eat it plain on simple bread in order to best savor its magnificent flavor. It is pricey but worth every penny.

Once I tasted this tuna, I could not go back to the other stuff. I used to eat Bumble Bee white tuna in water -- I still think it is decent tasting, but won't go back to it as long as the Bonito del Norte is available. The only complaint I have is the price, which is kind of high for the amount of tuna you get. I suppose catching tuna by hand is more labor-intensive and costs more than casting nets (which kills dolphins - despicable!). I give it five stars for taste (and for saving dolphins) and three for price.
