I'm glad I got this just in time for working from home, as I was able to connect all my peripherals to this. I think the top most useful feature for me is that it can function as a docking station. I only have to plug in one plug, and then my monitor, keyboard, charger and mouse are automatically connected. It's nice knowing it can support both display port, VGA, and HDMI, plus multiple monitors if I need to do so in the future. When I need to be mobile and move elsewhere for conference calls, I just have to unplug one usb. On the other hand, if I do travel, don't have to carry all my other dongles and accesories with me. It even comes with a soft carry pouch!I chose this one over other brands because of the number of different connections it offers. Some of the other ones I found were only display adapters, USB splitters, or strictly for HDMI. This one has enough for everything, even if you are gaming on PC with wired everything. It was worth the extra price is ease of use for me.The quality and color of this unit is very nice. I also have a gray mac laptop and I would say the color is 90+% identical. I took a few pictures of them side by side. It feels like an apple product with the rounded corners but hard edges. It is made out of metal so it feels very sturdy and the connectors are all very nice. No looseness or wiggle room, especially for the USB ports, which gives it an overall premium feel. It looks and fits in place, especially if you need to pull this out during a business meeting or presentation. The logo is faintly visible, which I prefer over some of the other ones where it is in black and large letters.

This is my 2nd USBC hub because the 1st one I ordered was missing the VGA connection port. This is really the complete solution, it has all the essential ports of older laptops. Although the main purpose for me was for connecting to another monitor, I am able to take advantage of the fast USB 3.0 port for my sticks.The VGA connection kept the display resolution from my MacBook Pro. I also noticed when using my memory sticks, the transfer speed is very fast.The entire hub is made of nice aluminum material. It is smooth and nice paint finish. The USBC cord is about 3 inches long, I wish it was longer, so that is probably my only complaint.

If you want to setup your workstation with multiple monitors, keyboard, mouse, ethernet cable, this is all you need. Dell’s docking station is much bigger and of course more expensive . With this device, you connect up to 3 monitors to extend your viewing area. It support all types of connection you can think of including but not limited to HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, USB 2.0, USB 3.0 Unfortunately, you can only use that feature with a window not MAC laptop. It also support memory card reader.

This has been a big improvement over the previous usb C hub I was currently using which was originally used with my desktop before Iplaced it into storage. I decided to use it with my phone as my current laptop no longer works due to a replacement battery I previously brought caught fire and melted a part of the motherboard. So I have been using it with phone emulate a laptop on my tv. Everything seemed to be working as intended but I noticed a big issue. The charge was not strong enough to charge my phone even when it was just at idle. I was using my fast charger that came with my phone. So after reading a few reviews and going over the specs of this one I decided on this. It has more usb ports than my previous one. It also has a display port my previous one did not. Overall it was looking like a great purchase. The big winner for me is not only did it charge my phone, but it displayed the fast charging notification and did it well. Another plus is as I'm currently looking for a new laptop, it seems like a lot of them have less and less ports nowadays as well as standard options like the older ones like a card reader and headphone jack. This little hub has them all and will only take up one port which is great. Overall real happy with this purchase.

awesome little hub for any sort of laptop that doesn't have any other type of USB ports most notably the MacBook switch have very limited amount of USB type-c ports. It's a shame Apple went that route but at least this has it all and it doesn't cost too much. and most importantly it is simply plug-and-play no need of insulation drivers and you know it is working because it has a simple green led to tell you that it is plugged in and ready to go.

After reviewing countless usb hubs I settled on this one since it had good reviews and all of the features I needed.However, ever since I started using this my macbook has started to crash intermittently. I am pretty sure this hub caused the issue. I bought this intending to use the display port for a third display but I could never get it to work with my monitor. Ethernet port has a ton of problems. If I leave it in while the laptop is asleep for a long time it starts cause other devices on the network to loose connectivity until I unplug the ethernet from the hub, I have no idea how this hub manages to cause that much havok. It's actually impressive. Now the ethernet port doesn't even work anymore. And guess what? It's not eligible to return anymore. What a waste of money.

I was looking for an extender to be able to hook in my mouse, charge my phone and connect other usb's while on my computer. I was stressed when I got my Macbook that I wasn't going to have enough ports and i came across this charger which solved all of my problems. It's lightweight and does not overheat while being used. Flexible wiring where i can leave it to hang sideways if I'm on a lap table. Easy to install, just plugs right in!

My work monitor has DisplayPort as input. I don't have to buy convertor like my old hub for my monitor. Other best thing is that the audio jack is same for headphones and mic. I didn't have that in the last hub. This hub really resolved both issues perfectly. This hub also works with PD changer. This hub is efficient in heat transfer. This hub doesn't heat up much. Overall, it resolved my issues.
