I figured for the price it would be fine, I mean bar tape is just bar tape right? Nope, this has a hard plasticity feel on the outermost layer. It's tremendously inflexible and unforgiving to install as well as having an adhesive strip that's 1/2 the size of every other bar tape I've used. The surface is also super slippery. I'm really not sure how this gets any positive reviews as you could get something decent from a bike shop for a few bucks more.

I just installed this Celeste green on my 80s Bianchi bike. It had the original black tape from 1988. This tape made it look new again. There is a small strip on the back of the whole tape roll that peels off and allows this to stick to the handlebars without using glue.My last bike grip I bought from China had no glue strip on back and was hard to get in place. It did kink a bit in certain spots but I spent extra time making it super tight. Recommend for anyone that likes celeste green or has a Bianchi bike that usually comes with this color. This particular color wasn’t slippery like others have said.

So this handle bar tape was dried out. It has a narrow strip of double stick tape that goes down the middle. When you try to peel off the backing, it literally pulls the double stick tape right off of the product, leaving a furrow where it was. So the double stick tape didn't really do it's job and instead slightly damaged the handle bar tape. I was still able to use it, but I think these products should have a shelf life. This one clearly was expired or should have been. The handle bar tape was really very dried out on the back.

I upgraded some foam wraps to these leather-ish wraps, and like them a lot better. I'm not great at taping bars, and had a hard time getting these to lay flat through the curves. The bar caps I got were not the black plugs pictured, but rather the chrome-looking plastic. No big deal b/c it was an old-fashioned road bike with chrome, but I would have returned if I had a newer bike with black metal. Also, the tape given to secure the wrap was not sufficient to get the job done, did not have the logos shown in the photos, and I still needed electrical tape. That's not a huge surprise either though. I'd definitely buy these again, but be aware of some differences from the photos. The material quality of the tape itself is really nice, and that's what I care about.

I used this to replace 30+ year old neoprene tape that was on my bicycle.Found it easy to install, adhesion was good. It was easy to unwind to fix mistakes. You do have to maintain a certain level of tension on it to get it to wrap correctly, but I don't view this as a negative. Once installed it looks very good.The grip and cushion comfort of this tape is excellent. I have found it very enjoyable to use and has added to the pleasure of using my bike.I give it five stars because it met my expectations and was simple enough to install and it came out perfectly once done.

This is very nice handlebar tape, the leather looks great and feels terrific under my hands. It was easy to apply to my bars. Only downside, I wish they included additional small strips of tape to use near the brake/shifters. I had to cut a small lengths from each roll, and that made the remaining length a little short. I had enough to cover the bars, but only barely! Still, I would buy this product again. Product arrived exactly as described.

I didn't like this bar tape. The photo doesn't accurately represent that it's actually a leather type wrap. Not a softer stretchier kind like In the photo. I've tried many different handlebar wraps. This one was pretty annoying to wrap, and because it's leather, when your hands become sweaty, the wrap will become really slippery. I would return it but since I'm selling the bike I don't really care. But I won't buy again

Replaced some fancy padded stuff that my LBS installed last year, which had worn poorly and provided zero cushion. This tape is sticky and has cushion (have 3 rides on it now). With the help of a couple videos online, installation was pretty easy. From now on, I'll wrap my own bars, and won't hesitate to buy TOPCABIN tape again.
