I've had this running between a Mikrotik Hex S and a CRS326-24G-2S+. No issues at all. It just works. I do power down before removing or inserting the SFP.

This product says it is compatible with the NetGear GC728X Switch via NetGear Part Number AGM734-10000S, however, it does not work. When you plug the device into the switch, the light blinks off and on every few seconds. The switch does not recognize the GBIC.

Worked fine in a Mikrotik router and in a Cisco 3560 switch.

Try device was packed well. I ordered two and they worked as expected
