Just opened and set mine up. Quality of this umbrella is very good. Not light weight at all. Ribs are rectangular and very sturdy. Have heard oval ribs are stronger, but these look to be very strong. Had no issues with it operating. Some others complained ribs were binding. I believe they rough handled something and cranked away when they should be looking at what’s not working or is binding. Fabric is not lightweight but it may not be waterproof. Don’t plan on sitting out in the rain anyway. Will provide great shade. For the price I’m very impressed. If you want shade, this is it.

This umbrella far exceeded my expectations! I knew it was going to be big at 6.6 by 9.8 feet but until it came, I really didn't realize just how large it would be! The size of the umbrella wasn't the only thing that exceeded my expectations, this was made with a high degree of skill and craftsmanship. The frame itself is sturdy and strong, the materials are thick and the stitching is done very well. The canopy is operated by a crank shaft that is smooth and very easy to use. There is a vent in the top of the canopy so air can flow through it and it wont blow away. For as large as this umbrella is its relatively light weight and can easily carried from place to place. The push button tilt also works very well with little effort and there is a handy velcro loop for when you have the canopy down .I am going to have to buy a bigger table for this umbrella and my table will absolutely be coming from Abba patio!

I used this for a week when I was fixing a trailer in our yard, and it really provided a good shade from the Texas summer heat! The larger size helps cover a greater area, which is what I needed in the first place. It was so good that we also brought it along with us when we went camping! Protected us from the sun and light rain. Very happy with the purchase!Because the size is larger, it is also heavier -- which makes opening it a little tricky. To crank the umbrella open, you also need to help push it up with your other hand while your dominant hand is winding the crank handle. That is what I did to make it easier for me. Also, before you buy this outdoor umbrella, make sure you already have a heavy base to hold the pole up. This does not come with the base. You can buy it here on Amazon or any local home goods store. By the way, we fold the umbrella and keep it inside when not in use to prolong its life and keep the color from fading.Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to others.

I just got this umbrella but I had to rave about it. If you've shopped for rectangular umbrellas you know they are hard to find and expensive. And some are cheaply made and won't hold up, even for a good deal of cash. Not for this one!The main post is powder coated brown metal with a crank that works perfectly and easily. And the pole's diameter is nice and wide. (see specs). The fabric is thick and treated, almost feels like a thin canvas. The color is neutral and I'm really pleased with how it looks and blends. (see my photo)Assembly took a very little work. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver to extend the length of the end four ribs. Directions are clear. And the included little product book that shows other items thye mae is very enticing.This umbrella is an amazing value. Quality, looks, strength - all at a great price.I highly recommend it and I'm not easy (:-)

Bought this 2 1/2 months ago and we’re happy with it so far. It’s been a little windy, but not super gusty and it’s held up. I love that it tilts to block the sun in the mornings. Lightweight and easy to carry inside when it gets windy. My only concerns are that the actual umbrella material seems to be thinning in spots or something. I can see bright spots through it. They don’t affect the shade yet, but I’m worried they will soon. Other concern is that when you close the umbrella, the tie is not secure enough to hold the detached longer pieces in with the rest of them. They clank around on things and each other when we move the umbrella. Other than these 2 concerns, we are happy with the umbrella for the price.

Waiting for my replacement so will hold final review until it arrives.It seemed to be packed in a way that the material was damaged by the metal pieces. There were several tears and round rust marks or maybe it had been used before???Assembly is a quick process. Connect the ubrella arms with a pop-button and twist onto pole.Material is not as thick as I thought it would be.UPDATE: Received new umbrella and it was very different from the first one that arrived. It was packaged much better and the umbrella arms actually connected with screws rather than a pop button. It seems much more sturdier than the other one. Will admit color is SLIGHTLY more greenish in hue but it looks beautiful.

This umbrella is attractive, available in multiple colors, has a tilting top, and is vented to allow airflow. The fabric is lightweight but still blocks the sun. When it was windy, the wind bent the main umbrella pole, making it impossible to either open or close the umbrella since the ring of the umbrella mechanism could not go over the bent portion. This only happened to one of the three of these umbrellas that I purchased; the other two are doing fine.

The wind doesn't catch it (due to the vent) but it does like to twist in the breeze (I live near a bay with lots of constant breezes). It seems well made, the crank works smoothly, but I wish the mechanism were higher because I have to lift up the pole out of the floor weight to get clearance on the hole in the table in order to turn the crank. My table is the standard 29 - 30 inches in height. So, this seems a bit like a design flaw in my estimation. Everything under the umbrella turns pink on a bright day, including people you wish to photograph, due to some very little light which penetrates the red.

Beautiful!! Perfect size for our 6 person patio set. Solidly made, cranks up and down without any problems.

I am so happy with my new umbrella ! Great quality, love the color. The size is perfect ! I would highly recomend this product and brand.
