Love this skirt. I had to attend a gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and I didn't know what to wear. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a dress that I may wear only once, so I decided to buy a black tulle skirt and a black fitted top and jazz it up with some jewelry. I ordered a size small since medium was sold out. It was a bit too tight around my waist so I had my tailor add one inch to the elastic band (I'm 5ft 6 1/2 in and 135 lbs for reference), which made it much more comfortable. I love the length of the skirt because it came right to the floor without dragging, which meant I didn't have to wear high heels (yay!). I got so many compliments on my outfit. This skirt was a lifesaver!

Real-talk: If your hips are, like, anything over 26-28", you're gonna put this on and wonder why you look like a cupcake. If you're going for the cupcake look, congrats! You win! If you're trying to look all elegant like the other size 0-6 ladies... It ain't happening. You can 1) embrace your newly added volume and pretend you and your skirt don't take up two seats in the backseat of the car, or 2) return it for a pencil skirt. Don't hide your curves, ladies. Adorn them with ponte knit and a slight touch of spandex!In other news, if you're a "boxy-shaped" size 2-4, THIS IS THE SKIRT FOR YOU.On the plus side: (lol...get it? 41" hips!) The good news is that the length hit the floor and then some on my 5'11" frame. Alas, I tried going with the short "tea-length" version and the long floor one, but neither were less cupcake-like.(Also, wear something underneath. Apparently it's see-thru.)

Love love love this tutu. I am 5'7, 300+ lbs. I have a tummy and a round derriere and I didnt have ANY problems with this tutu. The elastic fit my waist perfectly. The skirt fell to the floor...low enough to camouflage my Cole Haan sneakers. The skirt was a bit sheer when tucking in my white shirt, but it was barely noticeable. See pics. I moved freely. Walked around Paris for hours with no issues. Little girls said I looked like a princess. I felt as such, too. BUY THE TUTU!!!

Beautiful!! I couldn't believe the value of the skirt because it was so affordable! I want it in every color. It was more than worth every penny. Comes packaged nicely and just as described. True to size. I'm 5"10 180lbs and I ordered a large. I have more than enough room and probably could have ordered a medium. The skirt is long. I'm pretty tall and before I put on my heels, I had to hold it up to walk.

I was very scared at first to order this skirt because I didn't know what to expect. After reading the reviews I talked myself into it. Let me just say it was perfect! I used it for my engagement pictures.

I read lots of reviews of different skirts before purchasing so I wanted to return the favor for the next person. 1. It fit as we expected. We bought a small for a 5' 3" tall/110 lbs person. It could definitely work for a taller person if you slide it lower on the waist. She has it up fairly high on her waist which works with the top she chose. The waistband is elastic so there is flexibility. Just read the size chart. 2. It is good quality and the stitching is nice. I was actually surpirsed at how nice it was! It probably will need a little steaming from being folded up but we might just let it hang for a few days and see what happens. It isn't terrible and looked fine whenI fluffed it up to try it on.3. It comes folded inside out. The seams are not backwards like some people said. Just flip it right side out. The waste band is very wide elastic. Depending on your top, you can cover it with a wide belt or a piece of ribbon and a bow. We paln to leave it as is because it is hardly noticable with the sequined top we paired it with. It just looks like a wide belt.4. We bought black and it does not appear to be see thru. The layers are just right for a ball gown look. Over all, it is a nice quality skirt that will be used at multiple events with different tops.
