On the positive side this little box plays MP3 encoded CDs in addition to normal CD disks, and it has a socket to plug in a USB stick full of MP3 encoded tracks. On the negative side the radio reception is poor, the CD faulters occasionally and generally the sound quality is mediocre and very low powered. However I purchased it just as a low cost 'front-end' to an amplifier and separate speakers so I can play my MP3 tracks, and it is fulfilling this role adequately. The coloured lights work but are quite ineffective, maybe OK for a child's bedroom. There appears to be very few units on the market with the versatility of the Lauson and none at such a low price.

We got it as birthday present for our girl and unfortunately if it was possible I would give 0 stars for sound. Constantly hear noise when playing cd and when volume set to (upto) 8 that’s all you can hear- you cannot hear or understand lyrics ... when moving to next track there at least 2 seconds break which means no flow of the story (on my 12 year old player there’s no break when playing same cd).not recommending- waisted money and time plus very disappointed child.

I am pleased with this purchase, a nice tidy portable CD player that I wanted for the bedroom, with the coloured lighting it is nice to listen to music in the dark with the ambient coloured lights, a nice little unit and the sound is good, better than I thought as I was expecting it to sound a bit tinny but it actually does have a good bass sound at higher volumes, good value for money.

The item is broken, its making helicopter noise and the front is cracked I dnt think it happen during shipping because it was sadly secured

The product was nice in appearance. The coloured light effect was novel, but the CD player didn’t work. It start to play and after a minute and a half would stop, making some strange noises. After several attempts using different CD’s it still wouldn’t work so I returned it.

This is a very light and loud cd player and it has a very good sound quality i love the look of it and it is very portable i would recommend this to anyone.

Turned up in a ripped box, no sellotape or anything. Big Amazon sticker on it and it was supposed to be a present! No aux cable in the box, even the polystyrene was broken in the box. Cover over the batteries does not fit and keeps coming off. Needless to say, its stuck at home as I was ashamed to give it as a present

This is a lovely little player. Good quality of sound especially on the radio. I love the light function too and the fact you can connect your phone to it. Really like it
