Great Value on Silk Scrunchies
This is the third brand of silk scrunchies I've tried, and I was specifically looking for smaller, firmer ones to help hold my braid in place. I purchased the set of 9 mini scrunchies and it came in a nice satin pouch, which was an unexpected bonus. There are some minor flaws and concerns I have about these scrunchies, but overall they are a great value when purchased in the set.The silk satin is very thick and much thicker and shinier than other brands I have tried. I have ordered many items from LilySilk and I do feel confident that these are 100% silk as advertised. However, the quality concern I have is that the scrunchies are finished by hand, but the stitching is not very neatly done. There are some user pictures on the other LilySilk scrunchie reviews showing this problem, so I knew to anticipate it. I have no problem repairing them myself if they come apart, but do wonder why they couldn't be properly sewn in the first place since it's not difficult to do it right. The other thing to note is that the elastic portion on the inside is not a normal elastic. It is one of those seamless stretch tube elastics that kind of looks like you cut up a tube sock. On the positive side, these won't break or snap, but on the negative side, they have less stretch than a traditional elastic and can stretch out over time, since the elastic fibers are woven into fabric and are much finer than one solid elastic.I found that this inner elastic gave these scrunchies a very firm feel, but they didn't stretch as much as a normal elastic. They wrapped twice around my very thick hair for a ponytail, and they held my braid securely, but they may not stretch enough for everyone. The mini size is great for my purposes, but this won't replace my larger silk scrunchies that can wrap three times around my ponytail and hold a bun in place.

Best silk option for "regular" hair tie alternative.
2nd update: in 2022, they're still going strong! no breaks! My son borrowed 2 now, but he puts his wet hair up after a shower, and the black dye is definitely fading from the moisture misuse... But still. 2 years of use and misuse... Worth every single penny. Would buy again if mine had broken yet 😁edit: STILL durable after nearly 1 year!I LOVE these! I included some photos for reference to my "normal" hair ties that I twist 3x for a full ponytail. These are the same size. I tried using the soft rolled (red in picture) ties before switching to silk, these silk ones have that same slightly thicker band inside, not the thin black ones in my photo.Stitching is PERFECT on all 9, very durable, no loose threads. They are stretchy but maintain shape. These are perfect to minimize breakage and hair loss. I sleep in these to "pineapple" my curls, and I've never had more than 3 strands come out when i pull it off in the morning, compared to the knotted ball of hair that would stick to regular hair ties. I don't like the 80s/90s "scrunchie" look, but I love silk for my hair, so these are the slimmest option. 9 is a generous amount, as they don't seem likely to break anytime soon. I fully expect to get at least 2 years out of them before having to replace.

WRONG item shipped
I ordered the 9 pack of black holders that look similar to the Slip Silk ones.I was so happy when the package showed up, only to open it and find ONE pony tail holder, and a full size one, not the mini (thin) kind that I prefer. I am a 56 year old woman. I do not like the "scrunchie" look. I have been using the Slip Silk Minis. I had hoped these half price Lily Silk versions would be great.VERY DISAPPOINTED to get a full size scrunchie designed for an eight year old. It's going back. I will not order from Lily Silk again. VERY VERY disappointed. Appalled that I paid $20 for ONE. That is MORE expensive than the Slip Silk versions.

Bulky with very little stretch.
The media could not be loaded. In the photo and video I have attached, I am comparing the Lily Silk scrunchie (pink) with the Slip brand skinny scrunchies (silver). The Lily Silk scrunchie is quite bulky and barely elastic enough to use as a hair tie. I have very thin, short hair, and the elastic is barely enough to twist around my hair once. If you have thick hair, I don't expect this to be easy to use.

Not the same as previously ordered
I've ordered these 3 times previously and loved them, but the quality of the elastic on my newest order is not the same as previous orders, and I'm very disappointed. The order I just received are far more stretchy, and not in a good way. They don't have the same grip, and feel cheap. When wearing a ponytail, the well made lilysilk would wrap around 3 times, and not slip (for my hair type). The newest lilysilk wrap around 5 times. I was willing to pay the extra cost for my previous orders, but not these that are similar to the cheaper satin kind. I won't be wearing these and will be sending back. So disappointed.

Great quality, stretch and hold
They are the perfect size, It holds super well. My job is very active I'm always moving, bending and these hold perfect through out 12 hours shift and also running at the gym, slides smoothly when I take them off and they don't pull my hair, also they look like great quality and not cheapy. I can do 3 rows on my ponytail. I totally recommend this product.

One scrunchie
I don't know how I misread something, but ONE mini scrunchie? This is so stupid. Buyers beware: it says scrunchies (with an "s" as in plural) in the listing, but I received only ONE.

Sturdy. I like them
Have been using them for a month and it has been holding up pretty well! The stretch is just right for my curly thick hair. I put them in a little laundry bag to wash them and then put them in a hanger to air dry.
