Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Very surprised with the high quality of this umbrella. For the price, I was expecting something not as nice. Fabric is very thick and stitching is sturdy. I did a short video on showing you what you get when you unbox the umbrella. I wish the sound was a little louder but I video taped it with my iPhone. My bad. As you can see, I love my umbrellas, and this is nicer than my other one because it tilts for better shade coverage. It was even easier to assemble with a solid screw in application that will hold up in any kind of weather. Convenient and long wrap around strap also makes it stay put when it's down for those windy days. Perfect addition to my backyard oasis, where you can't have too much shade in Texas!!

From reading other reviews online, with some people reporting a bad experience, I hesitated to order this. However, I am glad that I decided to order it anyway (most of the reviews are positive), as it seems to be very good quality for its price. It has a nice vent at the top, to help it catch less wind than it otherwise might, but, of course, on a very windy day, it should not be open. The crank for opening and closing the umbrella operates smoothly, and gives a feel of quality. I have not had it long, however, so I cannot say how long it will hold up over time, but it has the look and feel of decent quality, much better than what I would normally expect at the price I paid. It looks very nice on my patio (I bought it in red).If I have problems with it, I plan on updating my review (and possibly changing my rating), but it seems like it is better than one should expect at the price. Of course, I do not expect it to be the best ever made, as that would be ridiculous to have such an expectation for such an inexpensive umbrella, but this, so far, *seems* like it is the best umbrella I have ever owned. Certainly, it is the best looking one.

A well made umbrella, and I'm sure it will last many seasons. The tilt button Is so high up that unless you are a six footer you have to stand on a chair to operate it. This is dangerous and inconvenient.Update on Review:The tilt mechanism broke a few days after the Amazon return date, but I emailed the supplier about the problem and they promptly shipped me a replacement umbrella. This was great service. I would buy from them again.

The quality is good. Durable and perfect size for my deck table that seats 6 people.

Holy s#*t! I got this today and just opened it up. It's huge!!! Very well made! Nice color! I'm sitting on my deck enjoying it and just keep looking at it! ... had to write a review right away!!!!!!!

Nice umbrella. Well worth the money. I sprayed it with 303 fabric protectant to repell water and protect against fading from UV light.

This product was easy to assemble, and looked nice .. until it didn't.There was no wind .. just a very light dusting of snow (see photos) .. and it folded over and nearly broke in two.After the break, I could see how thin the pole material was .. no wonder!Maybe for $19.95??? But maybe not even then if you want it to last at least one season.

We purchased this umbrella for deck. When we opened the box we were quite impressed with the quality of the rod and crank system, however when we opened the umbrella (beige) there wereblack spots in the material. The material is quite disappointing. It is very thin as mentioned in other reviews. Edges are nicely finished with decorative screws but since I admit to being OCD I had to return it. I did reach out to the company for an exchange but didn’t receive a response. New one arrived and we are down to just one spot. I haven’t decided if I’m keeping this one.

I have given this a 5 star rating for quality, however, be aware that the umbrella doesn't cover a 7 1/2 ft width. Opened it's only about 7ft. Not a problem for us as it was for a small patio, but it could be a problem if you have a larger area to shade.

Love this umbrella. It gives full shade for a six person table set, especially with the tilt feature (which works great). But it isn't bulky like a pergola in my garden space. Oversized umbrella was the way to go. Colour is rich and so far fade resistant. Operates very nicely and has a sturdy construction. Just don't cheap out on your umbrella base, because this thing is heavy duty! I went with a 50 lb cast iron, which was the heaviest I could find, and it is working nicely. I would not recommend opening the umbrella in heavy winds because it will take your table with it, it's like a sail. A testament to it's sturdiness I guess.

I bought this umbrella to replace one that broke up because of high winds. This umbrella is better built to withstand such pressure. Unlike the old one, the two poles are screwed together instead of one sliding into the other, and the bottom pole is a tight fit in the base (bought separately) so that the pole does not wiggle. As seen from the first picture, the umbrella has good coverage for my small patio table. The handle for opening the umbrella, seen in the second picture, is of good construction, and as seen in the third picture, the upper pole tilts to provide extra shade against the sun and it is a tight lock. I also like the price, very reasonable.

I like the sewn in fastener that closes the umbrella nicely. Better still, the vents at the top keep the umbrella from sailing out of its umbrella holder. It has withstood some gusty weather and stayed in place. I think the colour has faded to a degree so wonder how faded it will look next summer. The hardware of opening and closing it works well.
